Glassboro’s Annual Memorial Day Parade - 10:00 AM

Join the Borough for their Annual Memorial Day Parade. Starting at 10 am, the route starts on Lehigh and works its way into Glassboro’s Downtown. The Parade features Mummer brigades, all military division representatives, local pageant winners, local and professional bands, balloons and lots of fun stuff for the kids. At the end of the parade, a military dedication for the members of our community who have lost their lives during combat is held at the local Fire Department and Memorial Garden on High Street. This year there will also be a special dedication of a Civil War Memorial.

Children ages 5-12 are also encouraged to decorate their bicycles and join in on the parade. Parents must accompany their children throughout the entire parade route.

Main Street Glassboro 6th Annual Cruise Nite Car Show
Join fellow automotive enthusiasts as they show off their vehicles at the 6th Annual Cruise Nite Car Show in downtown Glassboro. Cars, trucks and motorcycles of all kinds line College Avenue, Academy Street and High Street, while food vendors from around the area meet the needs of all your culinary tastebuds. There is face painting, music and much more. Vehicle registration is $10. Food vendor registration is $125. Admission is Free. For more information call: 856-881-0500.

Main Street Glassboro presents the 15th Annual Unity Day Celebration
Starting at 10 am, join the Borough as its residents celebrate their diverse cultures in a fun filled family day. Local and professional bands grace the stage all day until 4 pm. There is food from all around the world. Kids amusements, crafters and 4H demonstrations. Everyone is welcome. The event takes place on College Avenue if weather permits. If we have inclement weather the event will take place at Bullock Elementary School on New Street. Crafter registration is $35. Food vendor registration is $125. You also have the opportunity to advertise in our ad booklet. For more information call: 856-881-0500.

Main Street Glassboro Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony
Join the Borough of Glassboro as we celebrate the Holiday season with our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in front of Borough Hall. We start the night in one of our downtown businesses with the first act of a holiday theater production and work our way to Borough Hall for its conclusion. Everything is ad libbed so you never know what can happen but we can guarantee that Mr. Claus will make an appearance during the event! Details will follow. For more information call: 856-881-0500.

Main Street Glassboro Photos With Santa
For only $5 and a donation of two (2) non-perishable food items, you can get your picture taken with Santa between the hours of 8 am – 12 pm during the Glassboro High School Music Booster Breakfast at Glassboro High School. The Main Street Glassboro organization will donate the food to the Glassboro Samaritan House Food Bank. For more information call: 856-881-0500.
