ST. ANTHONY’S SOCIETY AND BOROUGH OF GLASSBORO LOOKING FOR ARTISAN VENDORS FOR ITALIAN FESTIVAL ON SEPT. 21
The Borough of Glassboro and the St. Anthony’s Mutual Aid Society are looking for traditional artisan vendors to sell their wares at the second annual St. Anthony’s Italian Festival on Saturday, September 21. The event runs from 2:00-10:00 p.m. on Downtown Glassboro’s Rowan Boulevard, starting with a traditional procession of the St. Anthony’s statue and wrapping up with a state-of-the-art fireworks display.
“The St. Anthony’s Festival has all the components of a traditional downtown Italian street festival, with great food and music, games of chance, a procession of the St. Anthony’s statue, a wine making contest and a bocce tournament. We have a number of quality vendors but are looking for even more to enhance the authenticity of this event,” said Glassboro Councilman Ed Malandro.
